Women’s Health Physiotherapy

Women’s health is often overlooked in traditional healthcare. I focus on listening carefully and providing education and treatment that helps you feel more confident in your body.

You're in the right place if you need help with:

  • Support for stress incontinence, urge incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor overactivity, and painful intercourse. I provide assessments and retraining plans based on your goals and symptoms.

  • One-on-one sessions that help you understand what to expect during labour and how to support your early postnatal recovery. These appointments are ideal during the third trimester.

  • A full postnatal health check to assess abdominal muscle separation, pelvic floor recovery, and scar tissue (including caesarean). I also provide guidance for returning to exercise safely.

  • I am trained in pessary fitting for the management of pelvic organ prolapse and can support you with education, fitting, and ongoing reviews.

  • I work with clients experiencing persistent pelvic pain related to conditions like endometriosis, vaginismus, vulvodynia, and bladder pain. Support may include pelvic floor rehabilitation, education, and strategies to improve comfort and function.

  • I offer guidance and care for issues that arise during adolescence, perimenopause, and menopause, including pain, leakage, and pelvic heaviness.

Musculoskeletal
Physiotherapy

I continue to treat a wide range of general physiotherapy concerns. These sessions include assessment, education, hands-on treatment, and exercise prescription.

Common conditions I treat include:

  • Lower back pain

  • Neck pain and headaches

  • Shoulder injuries or tendon pain

  • Hip and knee conditions

  • Postural or workplace-related discomfort

  • Pre and post-operative rehab

I also offer dry needling for muscle tightness and pain relief when clinically appropriate.

Orthopaedic Surgery Rehabilitation

Recovering from surgery takes time, but the right rehab plan can make all the difference. I work closely with you to support recovery after:

  • Joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder)

  • Spinal surgeries

  • Ligament reconstructions or tendon repairs

  • Other orthopaedic procedures

Rehab may include hands-on treatment, strength and mobility exercises, and education on pacing and long-term management.

Pilates-Based Strength and Conditioning

Pilates can be an excellent way to regain strength, improve control, and return to everyday movement with confidence. I offer one-on-one and two-on-one sessions. These are tailored to your level, needs, and recovery plan.

Ideal if you:

  • Are new to Pilates

  • Are returning from injury or surgery

  • Need a low-impact form of strength training

  • Want to build control and confidence after pregnancy

Sessions focus on breath, core control, and functional strength. Each plan is personalised and progress is monitored closely.
