Hi, I’m Corinne. I am a physiotherapist with more than 10 years of experience working across hospital and private practice settings in Australia and the UK. My practice is grounded in evidence-based care and a deep respect for the individual stories women bring to their health journey.

My focus is on Women’s Health Physiotherapy, which includes pelvic floor support, pregnancy care, postnatal recovery, and managing chronic pelvic pain. Many women are never told that their symptoms can improve with the right treatment and support. My goal is to help change that by creating a space where women feel heard and empowered.

I also have over 10 years of experience working in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. This includes supporting clients with pain, injury rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and strength-based programs designed to help you move more freely and confidently in daily life.

  • Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that combines strength and flexibility to aid in muscle strength and conditioning. Pilates is appropriate for people of all ages and fitness levels.

    I have completed both beginner and intermediate/advanced Pilates training and often incorporate this into my active rehabilitation programs.

  • I also treat a wide range of general physiotherapy concerns. These include:

    • Lower back, neck, shoulder, hip, and knee pain

    • Rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery

    • Dry needling for muscle tightness and pain relief

    • Recovery plans for sporting injuries or overuse conditions

  • The female body experiences many changes during and after pregnancy. Increased pressure on the hips and pelvis can lead to a multitude of issues, including but not limited to:

    • Lower Back Pain

    • Pelvic Girdle Pain

    • Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction

    • Round Ligament Pain

    • Thoracic Spine Pain

    • Sciatic Nerve Irritation

    I can help provide education and advice surrounding pain relief so that you can continue with your day-to-day activities

  • I can perform an abdominal muscle check, pelvic floor assessment and scar tissue check (caesarian only) to ensure you are recovering well and identify any concerns early to prevent any long-term issues.

    I can also provide up-to-date education and guide you on returning to exercise after having your baby.

  • Dry Needling (trigger-point needling) is a branch of acupuncture which involves a fine needle being inserted into the irritable points (knots) of skin and muscle.

    The insertion of the needle helps to increase blood flow to the area (assisting with healing) and produce a pain relieving effect.

About Corinne

My interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy began during a university placement at a women’s hospital in Brisbane. That experience opened my eyes to how often women are dismissed or overlooked in healthcare. Since then, I have continued to pursue training in pelvic health, postnatal care, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

I have worked as a clinical lead in London and returned to North Queensland to open Wholesome Physiotherapy so I could offer personalised care in a space that values listening, education, and clinical excellence.

When I am not working with clients, I enjoy running, swimming, and keeping up with my very energetic border collie puppy.
